I had difficulties on question six which asked 'if a verb that expresses a state of being rather than action is called a/an what?' I could not find the answer for this anywhere throughout the chapter, so I had to guess the answer as I just didn't know it. However, the rest of the questions I found to be quite easy. Once I read the chapter, I found it quite easy to answer the questions as it was still in my memory.

After creating my own Twitter account, I followed about 40 journalists on Twitter. Here is a short list of the journalists I followed.
Since there were no trends in the Rockhampton area, I chose the Brisbane and Gold coast area. Two big stories in the area included #mickfanning and #JBayOpen which referred to the very recent almost shark attack on the Gold Coast surfer Mick fanning. Another popular trend is #casino and #Brisbane which refers to a massive entertainment company winning a bid to build a big casino and resort in Brisbane. Both stories have been featured on news channels and newspapers such as the Courier Mail and Channel 7. The stories have also featured on these companies Twitter feeds. See below.

Great choice of trends from twitter being very relevant to what is also happening in the news is a great point. You mentioned the people you followed , maybe you could of said a few words to what area's they focus on. Also a elaboration of what is provided on trendsmap would of been a great attribute. Fantastic writing though, very well laid out.

In regards to the inquiry task, you have selected a great choice of trends to focus on. Maybe include more detail to what Trendsmap is and the connection it has with other media. This post has been set out lovely and your writing is clear and concise.

I have noticed that you tend to introduce the different sites you use and wondered if you planned on doing the same for trendsmap. Overall I really like the pictures/evidence you have included.
